Shiatsu - Mana Health Practice

Shiatsu originated in Japan, and is rooted in Oriental Medicine. It can be beneficial for both specific conditions and as preventative healthcare. A shiatsu treatment includes stretches, gentle manipulation of the joints, and soft but deep pressure on the meridians (energy channels that run along the body), mostly using the thumbs, to release energy blockage and re-establishes the optimal flow of Qi (vital energy). The intention is to bring out the natural self-healing ability that we all possess by nature.

Mana Health Practice acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the first inhabitants and traditional custodians of the land on which we live, work and gather together and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
